Initiation (3 hours)

 

To whom it is intended: Practitioners from 15 years of age with mastery of the technique of swimming.

 

Includes All necessary equipment during class. Use of flotation vest and helmet required.

 

The classes take place in Lagoa de Albufeira, Costa da Caparica or one of the rivers (Tejo or Sado) depending on wind forecasts and student availability. All classes and courses  are held in Private (1: 1). 

 

Price:

 

Two hours private - € 150 (single lesson)

Four hours private - € 300 

Six hours private  - € 390 

Ten hours private - € 600

Lesson can be done in Semi-private mode (two people) if you are a group of two people on the same level of learning.

Complete equipment for each student. Prices per person.

Courses for beginners include Level I, II and III classes.

 

What you will learn:

 

• Introduction to Kitesurfing;

• Know how to assemble and disassemble the kite; 

• Know how to use the safety quick release of the kite and understand the procedures on land and in water;

• Understand the running of the Wind Window and kite flying across the window;

• Have the main notions/safety rules (how wind works, aerodynamics, weather, and its characteristics and conditions);

• Know how to land and lift the kite ashore with assistance.
