Law No. 144/2015 of September 8, amended by Decree-Law No. 102/2017, of August 23, now establishes that suppliers of goods or service providers established in the national territory that are members of an arbitration center or by legal imposition must inform consumers about the Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution entities available or to which they are bound by adhesion or by legal imposition resulting from necessary arbitration.

These General Terms, Conditions and Code of Conduct, hereinafter the rules, regulate the contract between the user and center Meira Pro center, (operated by Rui Pedro Ramos Meira Unipessoal, Lda NIF515903469 and Escola Rui Meira Windsurf & Kitesurf Unipessoal, Lda NIF507289200), hereinafter referred to as Meira Pro Center, which take effect upon entering the facilities (indoor and outdoor) of Meira Pro Center (hereinafter referred to as "facilities").

Privacy and Protection of Personal Data

We receive, collect and archive the information you add to our website or otherwise provide to us. In addition, we collect the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet; login data; email address; computer and internet information and purchase history. We may use tools to measure and collect browsing information, including page response time, total time spent on certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to leave the page. We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, means of communication); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, recommendations and personal profile.

Devolution
​
If deemed necessary, the customer may exercise their right of exchange.
Products returns are not accepted more than 14 days after receipt of the order by the customer.
Meira Pro Center accepts exchanges in the following cases: the product does not match what you ordered or it is not the size ordered.
It is the customer's responsibility to notify us, within the referenced period, by email, of their intention to return.
It should be noted that exchanges are only accepted if the product and packaging are in their original condition (eg maintenance of labels, etc...).
Note: the exchange applies to sizes and not to different models/brands; that is, a product can only be exchanged for another size of the same model.

In normal situations, all orders are shipped within 2 working days after payment confirmation.
Except when customers are informed that the item is not in stock and thus the delivery time is dependent on the supplier.

Classroom conditions and equipment rentals

CLASSES and TOURS
​
All values ​​include, in addition to the instruction, the rental of all the equipment necessary for carrying out the same and mandatory personal accident and civil liability insurance (Decree-Law nº.108/2009 of 15 May).
The student is responsible for the material assigned to him, he must make sure he does not leave anything on the beach.
If the weather conditions are not at all favorable (very light or very strong wind) the class will be canceled and scheduled for another day in agreement with the student.
The student must give reasonable advance notice in case he is unable to attend class (so he does not miss class hours).
Students must respect the instructions given during the class, (particularly on safety). The school cannot be held responsible for any accidents that occur as a result of voluntary and conscious non-compliance with this point.
The student must use common sense and care in handling the equipment.
The student must inform if he has any injuries or problems that may be aggravated by the practice of the sport, the school reserves the right of non-admission, with a full refund of the payment amount if it understands that the practice of the sport is an unacceptable risk to health and student well-being.
Cancellations 48 hours before class: There are no cancellation fees.
Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours before the class: half of the amount will be charged.
Cancellations within 24 hours of class: the full amount will be charged.
Cancellations made by Meira Pro Center due to security concerns: There are no costs for students.
The school does not, under any circumstances, refund payments made by its students for reasons beyond its control.
Not having any contraindications for the practice of physical activities, in accordance with point 2 of article 40 of the Basic Law for Physical Activity and Sport, approved by Decree-Law No. 5/2007, of 16 January.

Conduct and disclaimer
​
The user when using the facilities and equipment should be aware that, due to the increased risk of falling, water activities require a high degree of caution, consideration and personal responsibility. The Meira Pro Center team does not check if the user has adequate skills, if the progression techniques/security measures are being correctly implemented or if the minors are accompanied and/or supervised by a competent third party.

The user acknowledges and understands that water sports activities are not exempt from the risk of injury or death. These activities involve inherent and incalculable risks. The user expressly accepts these risks, both known and unknown. The user is responsible for his/her own actions and implications.
​
The user understands that their participation in the activities of the Meira Pro Center is voluntary. The user declares that he/she has the necessary physical and mental conditions to use the indoor and outdoor facilities of the Meira Pro Center and to practice any sports and activity at the Meira Pro Center. The user enters and uses the facilities of Meira Pro Center at their own risk.
Meira Pro Center must guarantee the proper functioning of the facilities and equipment, but is fully and expressly exempt from any eventuality, mishap, difficulty, problem, injury or accident resulting from training or related hazards. For all damages caused deliberately, Meira Pro Center reserves the right to claim compensation.

This agreement will be effective and binding on the user's heirs, next of kin, relatives, guardian relatives, executors, administrators and assignees in the event of death. By signing this contract, the user releases and releases the Meira Pro Center for any claim, compensation, obligation and cause or right of action, known or unknown, resulting from your participation in the activities of the Meira Pro Center, including claims for ordinary negligence. In addition, the user agrees to indemnify Meira Pro Center from any claim, obligation or right of action of a third party resulting from its participation in the activities of Meira Pro Center.

In the event of an accident, Meira Pro Center can provide first aid and provide the necessary medical assistance, in case the user is not trained to make decisions for himself. The user agrees to pay all costs generated for Meira Pro Center to do so. User agrees to indemnify and not hold Meira Pro Center for any consequences arising from such assistance.

RENTAL CONDITIONS Surf, Stand Up Paddle, Kayak, Kitesurf, Wingsurf, Windsurf, Boat

PRICE
The progressive discount shown in the price list is valid only for pre-payments for ongoing rentals. Customers with prepaid reservations have priority when choosing equipment. Alternate day rental is not available at the progressive discount rate, therefore, it will be based on the 1 day rate for each day of alternate use or hourly use. There is no refund for unused rental time.

RULES OF USE
The equipment can only be used by the person who is renting it. If it is used by other people, a full day's rental will be charged for each additional user of the equipment.
​
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
The person renting the equipment is responsible for any damages. For damage to boards and/or sails that can be repaired, the repair price will be charged. Damage that cannot be repaired will be charged the cost of replacing the respective equipment. Repair and replacement costs are paid to the Meira Pro Center company.
​
RIGHT OF REFUSAL
In situations that jeopardize the safety of users and/or the conservation of the material, Meira Pro Center reserves the right to cancel the rental contract. Users who do not respect traffic rules on the water or are sailing in a dangerous way will be warned. If they continue to browse dangerously, their contracts will be cancelled. Users who do not have the necessary skills to use the equipment or who are using it in a destructive manner will also be warned. If they ignore the warning, the contract will be cancelled. Unused rental time will be refunded for canceled contracts.

STORAGE CONDITIONS

PLACE
Throughout the year, the Meira Pro Center is installed on the beach of Lagoa de Albufeira, where the equipment referred to in this service is stored.
​
RULES OF USE
Stored equipment may only be used by its owner. If the equipment is used by third parties, in addition to the express authorization by the owner of the equipment, an extra fee of €20 will be charged, which will revert to the center for this use.
​
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE
Storage is carried out in a specific location for this purpose, so the user is responsible for any damage caused to third parties.
​
RIGHT OF REFUSAL
Meira Pro Center reserves the right to cancel the storage contract whenever the following situations occur:
Carelessness or negligence in the treatment of the center's infrastructure and third-party equipment;
Not respecting the box assigned to you;
Misuse by third parties of stored equipment without paying an extra fee of €20;
Lack of payment.

IMAGE RIGHTS
​
By participating in the school's activities, all participants authorize Meira Pro Center and its employees to collect and disseminate their image, assigning, free of charge and unconditionally, in perpetuity, the rights to use all audiovisual resources collected in this framework .
​
Additional provisions
​
Meira Pro Center reserves the right to dictate, develop and modify the general conditions, climbing wall rules, disclaimer agreement, current fees and any other legal document at any time. These changes take effect immediately after they are posted on the premises.
​
The rules are governed by Portuguese law. The invalidity or impossibility of applying any provision of this agreement will not affect the validity or applicability of any other provision, unless it affects the essential quality of the rights and obligations of the parties (the user and the Meira Pro Center climbing center) established by this agreement .
