The area of ​​Sesimbra presents you with the highest limestone cliffs in Europe, incredible rock formations that have existed for 18 million years and have given way to small paradisiacal beaches located along its banks.

This area created the word "California" which later called the state of California, USA. It is this incredible limestone landscape that will be the backdrop for our kayak tour. Together, we will explore the tales and stories of this region while paddling along the area through caves and rock passages.

The tour will start at the marina of Sesimbra, bypassing the jetty of the harbor and heading west along this fantastic landscape. Get ready to visit the Mula cove and Pedra da Mula and their stories until you enter the impressive Ribeira do Cavalo and its blue waters. Leaving the beach behind, we have the Lapa da Boca do Tamboril and Frade Cove.

During the rest stop at Praia do Ribeiro do Cavalo you can enjoy the natural surroundings for a swim in paradise before returning to the marina of Sesimbra.

Due to the restrictions created by Covid-19, groups are now reduced to avoid group gathering. This experience is now even more exclusive and an excellent way to get to know this region of the Arrábida Natural Park.

All necessary Kayak equipment. Water and toasted flour. Support boat. Neoprene suits available and free upon reservation. Watertight bags included for transporting your personal goods in the kayak.
